About us
One way church was founded by Pastor Terry Vaughn and his wife Rowena, who have been in ministry for over 30 years. Pastor Terry is an ordained minister and attended Bible College. Answering God's call to minister to people, they held their first service on December 2, 2007. Their deep passion is to see people come to know Christ and grow spiritually, fostering fellowship and sharing God's word. They aim to bring peace, love, and joy to families in surrounding communities.
Our mission
Our purpose is simple: to bring people to know Jesus, disciple them in His word, and share God's love with everyone we encounter.
Core beliefs
We uphold the following core beliefs: Jesus Christ is the Son of God; the Holy Trinity – Father, Son, and Holy Spirit; the Bible as God's true Word; salvation as a free gift from God; water baptism by immersion; baptism in the Holy Spirit with the gift of speaking in tongues; and healing through prayer and faith. We express our worship through songs, lifted hands, dance, instruments, and flags, demonstrating the worship within our hearts. We value God's presence, prayer, worship, discipleship, fellowship, family, children, youth, missions, Christ's Lordship, evangelism, teaching, love, and grace.
Our community
We are a community of people who love Jesus and others. Our desire is to help people with their physical, spiritual, and emotional needs. We equip families through special teachings on everyday life with Christ. At One Way Church, we are family.
